Fort Campbell Army Military Base is home to the 101st Airborne Division, the only Air Assault Division in the world!  In addition, Fort Campbell is also home to the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), two very prestigious Special Operations Command units. 

The base is strategically located on the Kentucky-Tennessee state line, between Hopkinsville, KY and Clarksville, TN, and about 50 miles NW of Nashville on I-24.  Although a majority of the 105,000 acres of the post are actually located in Tennessee, since the post office is located in the Kentucky acreage, it is the mailing address for the entire base.  The base is rather large and supports the 4th largest military population in the Army and 7th largest for the Department of Defense!  Fort Campbell is the largest employer, providing over 4,000 civilian jobs to the immediate area. With lower-than-average cost of living and many amenities, Fort Campbell is the place to find a home for any individual or family!
